THIS is why I love Goodwill!

I haven't yet blogged about my love for thrift stores and of my tried and true favorite, Goodwill, but I definitely plan on it. However, I couldn't pass up this chance to share with you this AMAZING find this past Labor Day weekend!

These candle holders are gorgeous and go perfect with my dining room table. I knew I found something special and especially when I saw "Jan Barboglio" on the bottom. I had never heard of Jan Barboglio but knew by the quality of the handcrafting they were worth something.

So...I was right! A little googling and there it was. Jan Barboglio is a designer/artist who is inspired by the romance of historic Mexico. She creates decorative iron accessories and each piece is hand-cut, fashioned, forged, and finished to a tanned-leather luster. An embossed, etched signature is stamped. Check out her stuff at Nieman Marcus here.

Best part??? I paid $2.99 EACH! Each of these candle holders retails for $88! What a great find and it's these kinds of steals that keep me going back!

I would like to know how much you paid for them at the Goodwill. What a great score! They are beautiful.

That is a good find. I love thrift store shopping. Me and my mother go at least once a week and we always manage to find good stuff. I love candles and candle holders, and I would have swooped down on these too. They are really pretty.

Take care!
